  • Music: Wolf Parade - It's a Curse
Last weekend I went with my host-family up to a little town/ski-resort called Gstaad in the mountains of the German part of Switzerland. It was very Swiss! We didn't actually do any skiing. The parents had to attend these concert and dinner events on Friday and Saturday night, so I came along to babysit.





It rained all day Saturday, unfortunately. But it wasn't too cold and I had a nice time anyway.








Sunday it snowed! Aww, pretty.











Aww, Switzerland is pretty! <3


We stopped at a town called Gruyere for lunch on the way home. It had a castle! Unfortunately we did not have time to check out the castle. =(





The ride home was nice and quiet!

The Castle a Gruyere is the one that that the Castle in the Beauty and the Beast (Disney) was modelled after

so you were not drowning in snow down there like we up in the north... lucky
gstaad is quite cute isn't it?
and everybody simply must love gruyeres, it's where they make the gruyere, the best swiss cheese there is, sadly though not the one with the holes...


oh and this is rahel by the way
and why does it freak when one uses an accent grave?
