I'm home!
No pictures this entry, because I don't really have any worth posting, and my website is down so I can't upload pictures at the moment anyway. (All of my old pictures are down as well, but hopefully they'll be working again in a few days.)
It's very strange to be back in Lethbridge. I'm sure I'll be used to it soon enough, though. It's definitely nice to see everyone again. And I don't have any jetlag, sweet!

So, I'm back at home and Ashley has gone on her way, but the last two weeks have been pretty fantastic! Paris was perfectly marvelous of course, but I'll get to that later as I still have about 500 pictures to sort through. For now, here are some pictures taken the first week she was here.

My life is fairly uneventful at the moment, as my friends have left me and I must save all of my money for PARIS WITH ASHLEY. She gets here in like a month! Anyway, so that's why there have not been an abundance of updates. However, here are a few pictures from the last three weeks or so!

Last Sunday night I took the night train from Geneve to Venice, and stayed for about three days. The train left at about 10:30 pm. I didn't get a lot of sleep, but it wasn't too bad. I had nice people in my compartment, so that was lucky. An english couple and their little girl, another lady, and a Latvian girl named Maija who is studying in Lyon, France. I made friends with her and we hung out for the first day and a half, so that was cool!
We got into Venice at about 8:00 am and made our way the the hostel I was staying at, which turned out to be really, really nice! I checked in and such, and then we went to the port to try to figure out when Maija's ferry was leaving, because she was going to Greece to visit her mother. The one she was planning to take on Monday was cancelled, however, which is why she ended up staying an extra day. Anyway, so she got a bed at the hostel as well, and then we basically just explored!
Speaking of which, Venice is seriously the hardest city to navigate EVER. The maps I had were useless. But really, it was alright. Venice was so beautiful that getting lost was enjoyable!

Last Friday I went up to Bern (again!) because Erin was staying at Cyril's place for a few days before she left for home Saturday morning. SO I decided to go hang out with them. We had to leave to catch our train to the Zurich airport at 4:30 in the morning, so we just didn't go to sleep. Instead we watched movies and took pictures!

So, I may have mentioned once or twice (or several dozen times) that I was going to see the Dresden Dolls on May 27th. Anyway yeah, it was pretty much the most fantastic concert ever.
I went with a girl from near Basel named Rahel. I know her over the internet. She is cool. There are no pictures of her because she is not allowed to have pictures on the internet, but never fear, I have loads and loads of pictures of OTHER THINGS.
